MEDOR: Middleware Enabling Distributed Object Requests

MEDOR logo

MEDOR stands for Middleware Enabling Distributed Object Requests.

It is classified as an archive project within the OW2 code base.

The MEDOR project, lead by France Telecom R&D (Orange Labs) allows the expression, optimisation and evaluation of queries on heterogeneous distributed objects.

Projection to relational databases, including complex mapping, is managed through an integration of JORM.

MEDOR is used by JOnAS together with JORM to provide CMP 2.0 (version 3.0 beta0 of JOnAS).

MEDOR is used by Speedo together with JORM to provide JDO queries.

MEDOR is released as part of OW2.
